Matthew Grana is a writer and freelance artist currenly living in the mountains of rural Tennessee because people scare him.  Ariador was created because in all of his years of running role-playing games he realized that he had never done a proper fantasy setting, so he did.  He liked it and decided it would make a pretty good comic book.

He's married to a gorgeous woman and has a beautiful daughter, and when he's not writing or drawing he's probably playing video games or grilling some sort of meat.
